Candidates must have 5 to 7 years working in logistics or shipping including experience working with truck, rail and air freight. Manufacturing experience is a plus as well as SAP experience. Candidates must be able to work in a fast paced, deadline oriented working environment. Candidates must have a High School Diploma but a Bachelors degree is preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Office is mandatory as well as excellent verbal and written communication skills. Job/Project Details: Ajilon Office is currently looking for an experienced Logistics Coordinator and Customer Service representative to work for an Industry Leader located right here in Overland Park. This Global company has been in business for over 100 years and offers long term growth and stability as well as a stable 40 hour work week and a work life balance! This temp to hire position will be responsible for receiving orders in SAP, assisting with the ordering process including invoicing and finally coordinating the shipment through several avenues including Truck, Rail and Air. This position will also be working with Customs offices to ensure the proper processing of freight and working with external customers to troubleshoot any shipment problems or issues.
