Bilingual Clinical Pharmacy Tech
Job/Project Details: Bilingual Clinical Pharmacy Technician. Must be fluent in Spanish. Performs standard processes and prcedures relating to overall service and care of patients. Works direcly with Clinical Pharmacy staff in development and maintenance of Drug Utilization Evaluations that are directly sent to physicians. Builds and maintains several independent formularies. Serves as liaison between Clinical Pharmacy staff and other departments including IT, Customer Service, and Client Service. Assists in review of prior authorization requests. Interact with physicians, pharmacists, and staff in discussion regarding prior authorizations. Responsible for the organization and maintenance of reference materials within pharmacy department and proof-reading of all materials produced by pharmacy department. Must have knowledge of pharmacy terminology, drug names, general drug indications and therapeutic drug classes, PBM services and outpatient pharmacy operation. General computer knowlege required including word processing, spreadsheet and internet programs. Licensed Pharmacy Technician with 5+ years pharmacy experience.df-jb
