Our client, located in Florham Park, NJ is seeking a R&D Market Research Analyst for an immediate contract to hire position. Details include: Under direction of the Department Manager will be responsible for supporting the development and implementation of the market research functions within the pharmaceutical industry. Will conduct primary and secondary market research projects in various therapeutic areas and identify market and clinical trends and their implications and prepare clear and actionable analysis of research and communicate accordingly. Will participate and support product forecasting and data collection in the development of marketing strategies and insure that projects and reports are achieved in a timely and effective manner for new product development and future opportunities of the company. Job Description / Responsibilities: -Conducts primary and secondary research utilizing IMS data and MedTrack in order to provide technical scientific or business insight and analysis into research findings. -Conducts in-depth data analysis using traditional and advanced methods. -Produces analytical reports regarding such items as forecasting future trends, market share, pricing, calculation of net present value, that are consistent with quality and quantity standards. -Determines forecast assumptions and builds forecast models -Coordinates and directs market research vendors that are commissioned to conduct physican/patient interviews by becoming a working team member. -Designs and assists with the development of questionnaires and moderator guides for marketing interviews to ensure the necessary data is captured -Negotiates with outside vendors and establishes performance milestones and timelines to ensure successful market research results and recommendations for new project development. -Approves proposals and manages research projects and provides analysis of findings by determining product concepts, advantages, unmet needs, specifications, capabilities, analysis of product pricing, and new sources and data for future development opportunities on a regular and timely basis. -Supports research efforts through active participation in project teams such as interpreting data and concepts and suggesting research strategies and tactics -Liaisons with market research vendors and builds and maintains a network of key opinion leaders across therapeutic areas in support of market research goals and objectives. -Will perform other related duties as assigned in support of the project team.
