Jobble.net Launches to Serve Contract Employment Professionals
San Francisco, CA – November 1, 2004 – Jobble.net has launched to serve the contract employment market with its unique service that matches contract professionals and employers with contract job opportunities.

As the job market continues to move from long-term, permanent company employment to short-term, even part-time, engagements, Jobble has been positioned to address the market space that serves business and technical professionals with the confidence and preference for contract work.

“As a veteran contract IT professional, I found that I relied on a handful of recruiters who knew my work and work ethic to keep my pipeline of gigs full,” notes Greg Saylor, Jobble CTO, and veteran systems integration professional. “At the same time I knew that there were jobs somewhere in the United States for which I was qualified, but just didn’t have the network to track them down. So my business partner and I created Jobble to serve our colleagues who want a site that can provide them with a wealth of contract employment opportunities worldwide.”

Tom Tantillo, Jobble Chief Strategy Officer, states that “Pent-up demand exists on both the supply and demand side of the contract employment market. Today our site is live with almost 5,000 contract job opportunities. And we haven’t even tapped the hidden contract job market, let alone gathered all the ‘low-hanging fruit.’ I expect that we will see a quick ramp-up in the number of jobs posted and contract professionals in the Jobble community.”

Jobble is unique from all other employment and job sites or boards. Jobble facilitates the introduction of employers to qualified job seekers for positions that employers post on Jobble. Tantillo notes, “We manage communication between the parties up to the start of negotiation. Then we get out of the way – the employer and candidates negotiate the specifics to successfully complete the contract assignment.”

Saylor observes, “As a professional who prefers contract work and has lived a contractor’s life, I wanted to design Jobble so that both employers and contract job seekers communicate respectfully in an open, factual manner.”

When the proposal submission date expires, Jobble literally gets out of the way – the employer and candidates negotiate the specifics to complete the contract assignment successfully. “Our goal for every project is completion in which employer and contractor are absolutely satisfied, even delighted,” states Tantillo.
